The Christmas season is in full swing, and I’ve been stressing out about what to get my kids this year. If your kids are anything like mine, they lose interest in new toys and gadgets VERY quickly. My oldest son is now 7, and my twins are 4. It feels like we’ve acquired millions of gifts and toys throughout the past couple years, but we’ve only had a handful of items that the kids have actually loved to continue to play with. Here’s my list of the top five Christmas gifts that have grown with my kids, and all are available on Amazon!
1. The VTech KidiZoom Duo Camera

I got each of my kids one of these two years ago, and they all loved it. The younger two like the simple games and the camera function, and my oldest is really good at maneuvering through all the camera’s functions (much better than Mom)! The picture quality isn’t amazing, but I didn’t really expect that out of a kid’s toy camera anyway. The VTech camera is linked below.
2. Shining Stars Projector

This cute little space projector is especially great for little kids. My twins liked to play with it even when they were two and a half. My older son also had fun with it at 5. It’s comes with discs which project pictures of different stars and planets. The discs are super easy for the kids to switch in and out. I got my kids an easy starter book about space and planets to accompany this little projector. The projector and book are linked below.
3. Kid’s Science Experiment Kit with Lab Coat

When you’re the offspring of a dorky doctor mom, you’ll be getting a science experiment kit pretty early! This one is so cute and pretty basic for young kids. It comes with little lab tools and easy step by step activity cards. How cute is my baby in his white coat and protective glasses?! Click the link below for info on this kit.
4. Disco Ball with Bluetooth Speaker

My kids LOVE this one. They especially think it’s so fun to turn the lights off and dance to crazy music right when Mom says it’s bedtime! The disco ball is super easy to use, and it’s been pretty durable; we’ve had it for about 3 years now. Disco ball is linked below.
5. Kid’s Construction Fort Building Kit

Disclaimer: my kids often smack each other with these sticks! But other than that, this fort building kit has been amazing. My oldest is now at the age where he can build a pretty simple fort by himself. My younger two also love the fort building kit but need some help with assembly. We throw a couple sheets or blankets over the top of this when it’s finished, and they kids think it’s so fun. Kit is linked below.

Thanks for reading everyone! I know this year has been so difficult for so many people. We wish you and your families all good health, peace, and joy during this holiday season.
Love,
Christina
